It incorporates integral silicone wire seals and moulded-in contacts, eliminating the need for messy and time-consuming potting or epoxy sealant. The connector boasts a rectangular, thermoplastic housing that provides excellent durability and chemical resistance. For secure mating, it features an integrated latch mechanism. Inside, wedgelocks are employed to guarantee precise contact alignment and firm retention, preventing accidental disconnection in high-vibration environments. It accepts thin wall wire with an insulation diameter range of 1.35mm to 3.05mm.

Built to perform in extreme conditions, this plug offers a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. It carries an IP68 rating, making it dust-tight and capable of withstanding prolonged immersion in water, ensuring protection in wet or dirty settings.
