TEMPO DataShark LAN and AV Cable Tester with Remote

The DataShark® PA70025 Network Tester Kit from TEMPO is a reliable continuity tester designed for UTP and flat satin cables with RJ45 terminations. This tool is ideal for testing both data and telephone connection schemes, including patch cords and installed cables, to identify good connections, opens, shorts, and cross-connections.

With this tester, you can quickly and easily verify computer patch cables such as RJ45, RJ11, and RJ12, or troubleshoot installed cable runs to ensure they are working correctly. The unit automatically tests the cable once it is plugged in and the power button is switched on. Each pin is clearly indicated by an LED, mapping the cable as the automatic test cycle runs. You can choose between fast or slow display speeds to suit the testing environment.

The tester can be slid together with the remote unit, which is reversible for RJ45 or RJ11/12 testing, making it versatile for various cable types. It also tests RJ11 and RJ12 patch cables and connections. The unit requires one 9V PP3 battery (included) and two AAA batteries for operation.
