The Texas Instruments 74LVC3G17DCUR is a high-performance, triple Schmitt-trigger buffer integrated circuit designed for reliable operation across a broad voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V. This device contains three independent buffers that perform the Boolean function Y = A, but with the added benefit of Schmitt-trigger input action. This feature provides different input threshold levels for positive-going (VT+) and negative-going (VT-) signals, offering superior noise immunity and signal conditioning for digital systems.
A key attribute of this IC is its full specification for partial-power-down applications using its IOFF circuitry. This feature disables the outputs when the device is powered down, preventing damaging current backflow and supporting live insertion, partial-power-down mode, and back-drive protection. This makes it exceptionally robust for applications requiring hot-swapping or complex power management.
Engineered for performance, it offers a fast propagation delay (tpd) of just 5.4ns at 3.3V, ensuring swift signal transmission. It maintains very low power consumption with an ICC of just 10µA, making it ideal for battery-powered or energy-sensitive designs.
