Data is shifted synchronously on positive clock transitions, ensuring precise timing control. The information within each shift register stage is transferred to the dedicated storage register whenever the strobe input is set to a high logic level. The stored data then appears at the outputs when the output-enable signal is high, providing complete control over data flow and bus contention.
For system integration and expansion, the register offers two serial outputs to accommodate different clock conditions. Data is available at the QS terminal on positive clock edges, facilitating high-speed operation in cascaded systems with fast clock rise times. Concurrently, the same serial information is presented at the Q'S terminal on the subsequent negative clock edge, providing a reliable method for cascading multiple CD4094BE devices in environments with slower clock rise times, thereby ensuring robust signal integrity across diverse operational speeds.
