The Texas Instruments SN74LVC1G125DBVR is a high-performance bus buffer gate integrated circuit. Designed for operation from 1.65V to 5.5V VCC, this single line driver features a 3-state output, making it an essential component for managing digital signal integrity and bus isolation in complex electronic systems.
Its advanced CMOS technology provides high output drive while maintaining remarkably low static power dissipation across its broad operating voltage range. A key feature is the output-enable (OE) input, which disables the output when held high, allowing for efficient bus sharing and preventing data contention.
This device excels in mixed-voltage environments, supporting 5V VCC operation with inputs that accept voltages up to 5.5V and providing down translation to the VCC level. It offers a fast maximum propagation delay time of just 3.7ns at 3.3V, ensuring rapid signal transmission. With a maximum ICC of just 10μA and an output drive capability of –24mA at 3.3V, it delivers power-efficient, robust performance.
Further enhancing system reliability, the Ioff circuitry supports live insertion, partial-power-down mode, and back-drive protection. Its robust construction is validated by a latch-up performance exceeding 100mA per JESD 78, Class II standards. As a green product, it contains no antimony or bromine (No Sb/Br).
Important Handling Note: The device has limited built-in ESD protection. To prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates during storage or handling, its leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam.
