The Texas Instruments SN74LVC1G240DCKR is a high-performance, single inverting buffer and line driver integrated circuit. Designed for operation with a supply voltage (VCC) ranging from 1.65V to 5.5V, it offers excellent flexibility for interfacing between different logic voltage levels. Its 3-state output allows multiple devices to share a common bus, with the output entering a high-impedance state when the output-enable (OE) input is held high.
This device incorporates advanced protection features crucial for robust system design. The integrated IOFF circuitry disables the outputs during power-down, preventing damaging current backflow and making the IC fully specified for partial-power-down applications. It supports live insertion and provides back-drive protection, enhancing reliability in dynamic environments. Its latch-up performance exceeds 100mA per the JESD 78, Class II standard.
