Bidirectional 4-bit voltage level translator by TEXAS INSTRUMENTS. TSSOP-14 package, supports 1.2V to 5.5V translation. Ideal for computer & audio systems.
The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Voltage Level Translator is a 4-bit non-inverting translator IC that utilises two separate configurable power-supply rails. This device is designed to facilitate universal low-voltage bidirectional translation between various voltage nodes, including 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V, making it highly versatile for mixed-voltage systems.
The A port tracks VCCA, accepting supply voltages from 1.2V to 3.6V, whilst the B port tracks VCCB, accepting voltages from 1.65V to 5.5V. Please note that VCCA must not exceed VCCB. When the output-enable (OE) input is low, all outputs are placed into a high-impedance state. To maintain this state during power up or down, the OE should be tied to GND through a pull-down resistor, with the minimum value determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver.
