For added security, the top or bottom pin can be mounted upside down to prevent unwanted gate removal, depending on the gate's weight distribution. The hook-to-bolt feature includes a 9mm drilled hole for R clips or linch pins (not included) to stop the gate from being lifted off, while the barbed hooks prevent the gate from working loose over time.
