Timco VDE Insulated Long Nose Pliers 8‑inch (200 mm), 228 g

Overview
The Timco VDE Insulated Long Nose Pliers are premium multi‑purpose tools engineered for precision gripping, bending and snipping in confined, difficult‑to‑reach areas. Their long, tapered jaws give exceptional access for detailed electrical and electronic work, making them indispensable for professional electricians, technicians and DIY enthusiasts.
Safety
Safety is paramount. Each tool is individually tested to 10 000 V AC and is fully rated for safe work on live circuits up to 1 000 V AC. The VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik) approval guarantees compliance with the highest international safety standards for insulated hand tools, providing vital protection against electrical shock.
Construction
The jaws are forged from hardened, tempered chrome‑vanadium (Cr‑V) steel, delivering superior strength and wear resistance for a long service life. Precision‑milled teeth give a maximum grip on fasteners and components, preventing slippage. A powerful cutting edge cuts hard materials such as copper wire up to 1.6 mm in diameter.
Ergonomics
Ergonomic soft‑grip handles offer a secure, non‑slip hold and reduce hand fatigue during prolonged use, delivering greater control and accuracy in delicate applications. The 8‑inch (200 mm) overall length provides an ideal balance of leverage for cutting and nimbleness for fine work.
