The Trend T12EK Variable Speed Router is a 2300W plunge router with 7-level variable speed control for a range of cutters, materials and applications. It is supplied in a 110V version with a 1/2in standard collet and a plunge stroke of 0-80 mm.

Overview

The T12EK is a trade-focused plunge router with a powerful motor, soft-start to help prevent kick-back and advanced safety features. Automatic power shut-off prevents the router from starting accidentally if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged and the power supply is lost and restored or interrupted.

Key Features

Precision Centring System with a guide bush centring pin and adaptor plate for concentricity between cutter and guide bush when using routing jigs
Ergonomic inclined handles that support a natural wrist position and are designed to reduce strain when routing with arms outstretched
Standardised fixing pattern of holes in the Trend Base Configuration for attachment to compatible tables, jigs and accessories
Integrated router rest for changing cutters safely while preventing debris from entering the motor vents
Top-mount cyclone extraction with enhanced dust adaptor for clearing debris, providing 360° visibility and reducing extraction hose snagging
Automatic LED work lights to help position the cutter before engaging the material in low-light conditions
