The TT ELECTRONICS / BI TECHNOLOGIES D83C D Series is a compact, high-performance quad isolated small signal diode housed in a Single-In-Line (SIP) package. Designed for reliability and space efficiency, it features four isolated diodes with a common cathode polarity, making it ideal for complex circuit designs requiring multiple discrete diodes in a minimal footprint.

Constructed with a focus on durability, the diode boasts 100% silver (Ag) terminations and tin (Sn) plated steel lead pins, ensuring excellent solderability and corrosion resistance. The component is further protected by a UL94V-0 rated epoxy resin conformal coating, providing superior flame retardancy and insulation. The junction and lead pins feature a high-reliability finish of 96% tin, 3.5% silver, and 0.5% copper.

Key Performance Specifications

This diode delivers robust electrical characteristics, including a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 80V and an average forward current of 100mA. It exhibits a low forward voltage drop of a maximum 1.2V and an exceptionally fast reverse recovery time of just 4 nanoseconds, enabling efficient operation in high-speed switching applications. It can withstand a forward surge current of 300mA and operates reliably across a broad temperature range from -25°C to 80°C. The low junction capacitance of 5.5pF minimises signal distortion in high-frequency circuits.
