The TT Electronics PCF0805R-100KBT1 is a 100kΩ precision surface mount chip resistor with a power rating of 100mW and a compact 0805 (2012 Metric) case size. It features a thin-film resistive element selectively deposited on a 96% alumina substrate, ensuring high stability and accuracy in a space-saving package.
This precision resistor is manufactured using precision metal film technology and a passivated range for superior humidity performance, load life stability, and humidity resistance to 0.05%. The unadjusted resistor is heat-treated to achieve the required temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and stability, followed by a precisely controlled laser trim process to adjust the resistance value to ±0.1% tolerance.
The chip is protected with an epoxy coating and features wrap-around terminations plated with nickel and tin. The terminations have an electroplated nickel barrier and tin coating, ensuring excellent leach resistance and solderability. Suitable for reflow soldering, this resistor is ideal for demanding applications requiring long-term reliability and precise resistance values.
