The VERMASON Field Service Mat is a portable and essential piece of equipment designed to create a temporary Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protected Area (EPA). This defined workspace allows for the safe handling, unpacking, and repacking of Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices (ESDS), such as electronic components, circuit boards, and assemblies, by significantly minimising the risk of damage from harmful static electricity.

Crafted from a durable, two-layer blue and black vinyl cloth, the mat provides a reliable, conductive surface to safely dissipate electrostatic charges. It features two integrated 10mm studs, which are used to connect the mat to a common grounding point, ensuring any static build-up on the mat or the user is effectively earthed. When fully opened, the mat provides a substantial work area measuring 610mm x 610mm (0.6m x 0.6m), offering ample space for tasks while remaining compact for storage and transport.
