VISHAY 1 channel DIP optocoupler with phototransistor output. Features 13.9kV isolation, 75mA forward current, and 4 pins.
The VISHAY 1 Channel Optocoupler with a phototransistor output is designed to provide reliable electrical isolation in demanding electronic circuits. It consists of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode. The components are mounted opposite one another, providing a distance between input and output of greater than 3mm, which meets the highest safety requirements for isolation.
This optocoupler features a very high isolation voltage of 13.9kV and a rated recurring peak voltage of 1450V (repetitive). Encased in a standard DIP package with 4 pins, it is well-suited for compact circuit board layouts. The device supports a maximum forward current of 75mA and offers a minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) of 50%. The collector-emitter voltage is rated at 32V.
With compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, and a lightweight design of just 2.442 grams, this component integrates seamlessly into your electronic assemblies.
