The Vishay 125 ALS series is a range of miniature, long-life aluminium electrolytic capacitors designed for demanding applications. This axial-leaded capacitor offers a capacitance of 1000µF with a 25V DC rating and a ±20% tolerance, providing a robust and reliable solution for power management circuits.
Built for longevity, this polarised capacitor features a long useful life of up to 10,000 hours at a high operating temperature of 105°C. It is charge and discharge proof and boasts a high ripple current capability of 580mA, making it exceptionally suitable for smoothing and filtering in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS). Its miniaturised, high CV-per-volume design is ideal for portable, mobile, and standby equipment where space and weight are critical factors.
The capacitor is constructed with a cylindrical aluminium case insulated by a blue sleeve and non-solid electrolyte.
