VISHAY 138 AML Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitor 470µF 63V

The VISHAY 138 AML Series miniature radial leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitor offers exceptional performance and reliability. Encased in a cylindrical aluminium body and insulated with a blue sleeve, this polarised capacitor utilises a non-solid electrolyte to deliver long life and high ripple current capability.

Designed with a miniaturised footprint, it provides a high CV-product per unit volume, making it ideal for applications where space and weight are critical. It is fully charge and discharge proof, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments. Taped versions are available for cases up to 15 x 30mm in diameter, facilitating efficient automatic insertion during manufacturing. Please note that the mounting ring version is not available in an insulated form.

Delivering a ripple current of 1.46A and a low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 0.13ohm, this component boasts an impressive operational lifespan of up to 10,000 hours at 105°C. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.

This capacitor is highly versatile, suitable for use in Electronic Data Processing (EDP), telecommunications, and portable or mobile equipment requiring small size and low mass. It excels in stand-by applications, low mounting height boards, and environments subject to vibration and shock.
