The VISHAY 38kHz IR Receiver Module is a miniaturised receiver designed for infrared remote control systems. It features a PIN diode and a preamplifier assembled on a lead frame, ensuring reliable performance. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for straightforward decoding, simplifying circuit design and integration.
This module offers robust performance in various environments, as it is immune to dimmed LCD backlighting and fluorescent lamps. It also boasts improved shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and enhanced immunity against ambient light. Additionally, the receiver is insensitive to supply voltage ripple and noise, providing stable operation. Please note that AGC3 and AGC5 may suppress some data signals during continuous transmission.
