The Waveshare PoE HAT with Cooling Fan enables you to power your Raspberry Pi 5 directly through a PoE-injected network cable, eliminating the requirement for a separate power supply. Designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5, this HAT incorporates the new PoE pin layout to ensure seamless compatibility and reliable performance across a wide range of projects and applications.
Delivering a 5V output with a maximum current of 4.5A, the HAT provides ample power for the Raspberry Pi and its peripherals. Additionally, it features a separate 12V header capable of supplying up to 2A, making it suitable for powering external devices. The fully isolated switched-mode power supply ensures safe and stable operation, while compliance with IEEE 802.3af/at standards guarantees broad compatibility with standard PoE network equipment.
