The Würth Elektronik STAR-TEC split ferrite core (12.5mm cable diameter) is designed for supplementary interference suppression in the 1MHz to 1GHz range. Featuring a NiZn core material, this snap ferrite effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable performance in industrial and test measurement applications. The core is part of the WE-STAR-TEC series, known for its user-friendly design and robust construction.

The ferrite features a pre-fixed cable system that simplifies assembly and provides cable clamping protection, preventing errors during installation. The patented internal security locking system, operated with the STAR-TEC key (sold separately), prevents unauthorised removal from the cable, adding a layer of security. The plastic housing meets UL94 V15 classification, and the operating temperature range is –25°C to +105°C.
