Secure your home with Yale's BS1 Nightlatch – BS 3621:2007 approved, anti-carding bolt & 15-year guarantee. Chrome finish, includes 2 keys.
Yale BS1 Nightlatch British Standard Lock provides maximum security for timber external doors, meeting the BS 3621:2007 standard and recommended by insurance companies. The lock is Kitemarked, ensuring the highest level of security and peace of mind for homeowners.
The lock features a 6-pin high-performance cylinder with 20mm anti-carding bolt for robust protection against forced entry. It can be operated via key from the outside and offers both key and lever handle operation from the inside, with a lockable internal handle for additional security. The latch automatically deadlocks upon closing the door, and the snib function allows it to be held back when needed.
This model has a 60mm backset, measured from the door edge to the keyhole centre, making it ideal for standard timber doors. A 40mm backset version is available for glass-panelled doors or restricted spaces.
The Yale BS1 Nightlatch comes with a polished chrome hardened case and cylinder for a sleek, durable finish. It includes 2 keys and is backed by a 15-year guarantee for long-term reliability.
