With its intuitive ColorTrip display, the scanner lights up green for studs, blue for metal, and red for live AC, making it easy to identify what you have found at a glance. This advanced display also illuminates when the centre of a stud is detected, helping you pinpoint the exact location with confidence.

Switch between four modes using the easy-to-use mode switch: StudScan finds the centre, edges, and direction of wood or metal studs up to 19mm deep, while DeepScan doubles the depth to 38mm for thicker surfaces. The WireWarning Detection alerts you with a flashing screen or red light in Stud, DeepScan, and Metal Scan modes, indicating the presence of live, unshielded AC wiring up to 50mm deep. For metal detection, Metal Scan locates non-ferrous materials like copper pipe (up to 38mm) and ferrous materials like rebar (up to 75mm).

The SpotLite Pointer shines an arrow-shaped light directly onto the wall to mark the centre of the stud, while the 'V' marker groove allows for precise marking. The Signal Strength Indicator helps distinguish between shallow and deep targets, and the ACT™ (Auto Correcting Technology) automatically corrects common scanning errors.
