Bahco 1-100-04-1-0 Hand Bastard Cut File, 100mm (4in)
Bahco 100mm (4in) bastard cut file for fast material removal with a safe edge and tapered design. Ideal for metalwork.
The Bahco 1-100-04-1-0 Hand Bastard Cut File is designed for efficient filing on a variety of surfaces, including flat areas, sharp corners, shoulders, and for deburring tasks. The file features a double-cut pattern on both sides, providing a high material removal rate, ideal for work on high-alloy tool steels. Additionally, it is highly effective for sharpening heavy implements.
One edge is a safe edge, allowing for precise work in tight corners without damaging adjacent surfaces. The file has parallel sides but is slightly tapered in thickness, ensuring easy handling and control during use.
The Bastard Cut classification (approx. 26 teeth per 25mm) makes it a coarse file, perfect for rapid material removal. For finer work, Bahco also offers smooth cuts with finer teeth configurations (62 teeth per 25mm for fine work, 36 teeth per 25mm for medium work).
Constructed for durability and precision, this 100mm (4in) file is tanged for secure attachment to a standard file handle, enhancing user comfort and control.
