Dormer P807 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr, Ball Nose, 3mm x 3mm
Dormer P807 solid carbide rotary burr (3mm ball nose) for skip flute grinding, high strength & precision machining.
The Dormer P807 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, enhancing strength at the centre and reducing swarf congestion. The improved cutting action near the centre ensures efficient machining, making this burr an excellent first choice for general applications.
Engineered for durability, this rotary burr produces double cuts, improving metal removal rates while breaking swarf into manageable pieces. It offers enhanced ease of control, ensuring precision in all operations.
Constructed with toughened and hardened steel shanks, the burr provides rigidity and strength, preventing bending and minimising vibrations for extended tool life. It is ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, ensuring high-quality performance.
Key features include excellent impact strength, allowing it to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements further improve braze strength, ensuring long-lasting reliability in demanding applications.
