Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Bright Burr Oval 9.6mm x 6mm
High-quality Dormer carbide rotary burr for precision grinding & machining. Oval 9.6mm x 6mm with durable steel shank.
The Dormer P809 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features an oval ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, providing increased strength at the centre. This design reduces the chance of swarf congestion and improves the cutting action closer to the centre, making it an excellent first choice for general machining.
Key Features:
- Double Cuts: Ensures efficient material removal.
- Improved Control: Offers enhanced precision during operation.
- High Metal Removal Rate: Increases productivity.
- Swarf Management: Breaks swarf into manageable pieces for easier handling.
The burr features toughened and hardened steel shanks, which provide rigidity and strength, preventing bending and reducing vibrations for improved tool life. Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel), this tool boasts excellent impact strength, capable of withstanding high forces and elevated temperatures without failing. Special brazing elements further enhance braze strength, ensuring durability in demanding applications.
