Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Burr, Ball Nosed, 12.7 x 6mm
Dormer P805 solid carbide rotary burr with ball nose geometry for efficient machining. 12.7mm diameter, 6mm shank.
The Dormer P805 Solid Carbide Rotary Bright Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, ensuring increased strength at the centre. This innovative design reduces the chance of swarf congestion and improves cutting action closer to the centre. The burr produces double cuts, making it an excellent first choice for general machining applications.
With an improved ease of control and increased metal removal rate, this burr efficiently breaks swarf into manageable pieces. Its toughened and hardened steel shanks provide rigidity and strength, preventing bending and reducing vibrations, which ultimately enhances tool life. The burr is ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) standards, offering excellent impact strength to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failing. Special brazing elements ensure outstanding braze strength for prolonged durability.
