Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Burr, Pointed Tree, 8x6mm
Dormer 8mm carbide rotary burr with pointed tree design for high-precision metal grinding and deburring.
The Dormer P813 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr features a bright pointed tree ball nose geometry, optimised for skip flute grinding and increased central strength. It provides a reduced chance of swarf congestion, a highly effective cutting action near the centre, and produces double cuts—making it ideal for general machining applications.
Designed for improved control and an enhanced metal removal rate, this rotary burr breaks swarf into manageable pieces for cleaner and more efficient work. It incorporates toughened and hardened steel shanks, ensuring rigidity and minimising vibrations, which significantly extends the tool lifespan.
Additional Highlights:
- Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances.
- Excellent impact resistance, capable of withstanding high forces and temperatures without failure.
- Special brazing elements for superior braze strength.
