The EUROPA Interlocked Fused Switch, 3P+N is a robust and safety-focused electrical distribution component, engineered for secure isolation and circuit protection in a variety of industrial and commercial installations. This unit combines a fused switch and an isolator in one integrated assembly, providing a convenient and reliable means to safely disconnect and isolate machinery or sections of an electrical system for maintenance. It ensures enhanced personnel safety and equipment protection.

This switch features a 3-pole + early make/late break neutral configuration, designed for systems where precise neutral switching is critical. The switch handle is padlockable in the off position, accommodating up to three padlocks simultaneously to prevent accidental or unauthorised re-energisation, a vital safety feature known as Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO). The unit offers IP20 protection on its incoming terminals, safeguarding against accidental finger contact with live parts.

Supplied with fully rated gL fuses, it delivers dependable short-circuit and overload protection. It is suitable for high-power applications with a maximum fuse size of 80A and a robust fused short-circuit current rating of 30kA. The versatile power ratings cater to different supply voltages, offering 37kW at 240V, 45kW at 415V, and 90kW at 690V. Its high impulse withstand voltage of 6kV ensures resilience against transient voltage spikes. The design includes top and bottom gland plates for neat and secure cable entry and management.

Constructed for reliability, all switch ratings are classified as AC-22, suitable for mixed resistive and inductive loads.
