These 5x50mm Type 17 screws feature super-sharp threads designed to cut through fibrous materials with ease, significantly reducing the torque required for installation. Their self-countersinking cutting nibs and flat head design ensure a clean, flush finish every time.
The next-generation lubrication system incorporated in these screws requires almost half the torque of conventional screws, making your DIY or professional projects faster and easier. Additional knurled shank ribs further reduce installation torque while helping to prevent wood splitting - they simultaneously clean the hole and prevent jacking when joining timber pieces.
The innovative star drive recess (T10 to T30 sizes) offers twice the drive torque of Pozi or square drives, virtually eliminating cam-out and fastener damage. Optimised thread lengths prevent cross-threading and ensure wood pieces are pulled together perfectly on the first attempt.
