The screws boast 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, along with reinforced countersunk necks that enhance holding power. The anti-friction thread minimises timber splitting, reduces 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and improves drawing strength. Serrated threads ensure improved pull-out resistance and reduced insertion torque.
A double cutting point allows for faster drilling and reduced wood dust clogging, while also enabling the screws to pierce 0.8mm steel. The 'Elementech 400' coating provides superior anti-corrosion resistance, lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This eco-friendly coating is free from Cr6+ and is salt spray tested to 400 hours.
