The ForgeFix Decking Screws feature a Pozi compatible head and are specially hardened and green treated for superior durability. These single-threaded (ST) screws are designed to prevent splitting of decking boards while allowing for natural expansion and contraction with changing seasons.
The 1,000-hour green-treated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, making these screws ideal for use with ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated timber commonly used in decking and outdoor construction.
Pozidriv Advantage: Unlike standard Phillips screws, the Pozidriv design features four additional contact points and does not cam out during installation, allowing for higher torque application without slippage. Easily identifiable by the 45° embossed line on the screw head.
