These ForgeFix drywall screws feature a black phosphate finish that enhances durability and provides good corrosion resistance. The phosphate coating is porous and can be formed from zinc, manganese, or iron phosphate solutions, improving appearance, resistance to abrasion, and further corrosion protection when supplementary coatings are applied.
The bugle head design allows the screws to sink effortlessly into drywall without the need for countersinking, minimising surface damage. The Phillips No.2 drive system ensures ease of use and prevents over-tightening, as the screwdriver tip will cam out when torque exceeds optimal levels.
