ForgeFix Flat Repair Washers ZP M12 x 40mm - Pack of 10
Durable zinc-plated M12 x 40mm flat repair washers by ForgeFix for secure bolting applications. Pack of 10.
The ForgeFix Flat Repair Washers offer exceptional durability and reliability with their large 40mm outside diameter and bright zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance. These washers are essential for distributing the load under a bolt head or nut face, ensuring a smooth bearing surface that helps prevent loosening caused by uneven fastening surfaces.
Zinc plating forms a protective barrier against oxidation, significantly extending the lifespan of the metal. Even if the coating is damaged, zinc acts as a sacrificial anode, continuing to protect the base metal. The resulting zinc oxide is non-reactive and maintains the integrity of the substrate, similar to the protective oxide layers found in aluminium and stainless steel.
