ForgeFix ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Wood Screw 4x60mm, Box 200
Durable ForgeFix Elite 2000 wood screws with Elementech coating. Ideal for exterior, coastal, and load-bearing applications.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw is engineered to deliver superior performance and durability in exterior applications. Featuring the advanced Elementech 2000 Coating System, these screws offer increased corrosion resistance, making them ideal for both treated and untreated wood. With a 2,000-hour salt spray test rating, they are designed to withstand harsh coastal and outdoor environments, ensuring long-lasting performance in all weather conditions for both commercial and residential use.
The advanced thread technology and POZI recess allow for faster and easier installation without the need for pre-drilling. The double cutting point minimises splitting and reduces drive time, while also enabling penetration of 0.8mm steel. A serrated cutting thread ensures a firmer fix with reduced drive torque and improved pull-out resistance. Additionally, the anti-friction thread prevents 'jacking' and rotation of adjoining timbers, further reducing the risk of splitting.
Key benefits include:
- Reinforced countersunk neck for improved holding power.
- 6 angled lobes for better countersinking.
- POZI® compatible head for universal acceptance.
- CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
- Elementech 2000 coating provides superior corrosion resistance, lasting up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coatings.
These screws are an excellent choice for exterior applications, offering durability, ease of use, and exceptional weather resistance.
