ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Wood Screws ZY 5.0 x 120mm, Box of 100
Durable ForgeFix wood screws with Pozi drive, anti-friction thread & Elementech 400 coating. Ideal for interiors. Box of 100.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Wood Screws are designed for high-performance woodworking applications. These screws feature a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, ensuring compatibility with standard tools for ease of use. With 6 underhead lobes, they improve countersinking while minimising surface dust during installation.
The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power, providing a secure and durable fastening solution. The anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting and prevents 'jacking' or spinning of joined wood, while improving drawing strength. Additionally, the serrated thread enhances pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque.
Equipped with a double cutting point, these screws enable faster drilling times and reduce wood dust clogging. Remarkably, they can pierce through 0.8mm steel, making them highly versatile for mixed-material applications.
The screws boast an 'Elementech 400' coating, which offers superior anti-corrosion protection—lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating is free from Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested for 400 hours for reliability.
Ideal for interior use, these wood screws combine strength, durability, and ease of installation, making them a top choice for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.
