The ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screws combine premium materials with innovative design for superior performance in woodworking applications. These screws feature a Torx® compatible drive (supplied with each box) for improved torque transmission and reduced cam-out compared to standard Phillips or slot drives.
Their patented design includes recessed ribs and a reinforced countersunk neck that work together to improve countersinking while maximising holding power. The unique drill and drive thread substantially reduces timber splitting as well as preventing 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber – resulting in stronger, more stable fixes every time.
With a remarkably sharp point capable of piercing 0.8mm steel, these screws offer faster bite and easier installation. The advanced 'Elementech 400' coating provides outstanding corrosion resistance that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings while being environmentally friendly (Cr6+ free). This superior protection is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
