ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Wood Screws 5.0x80mm, Pack of 400
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with TORX® drive & Elementech 400 coating. Pack of 400, 5.0x80mm, includes bit.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screws offer superior performance with their innovative design and advanced coating technology. These screws feature a universally accepted TORX® compatible drive, ensuring better torque transmission and reduced cam-out compared to traditional screw heads.
The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking and less surface dust during installation, while the reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power for a more secure fix. The patented drill and drive thread design minimises timber splitting, reduces 'jacking' of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance for a firmer connection. A sharp point enables faster bite and can even pierce 0.8mm steel sheets.
Advanced Protection
Featuring the 'Elementech 400' coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly formula is free from Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested for 400 hours, making it ideal for interior applications where durability is key.
Each tub includes a compatible TORX® bit for immediate use, ensuring you have everything needed for installation.
