ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw, M8 x 20mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 10
High tensile zinc-plated set screws (M8 x 20mm, pack of 10) for corrosion-resistant fastening in engineering & construction.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screws are engineered from grade 8.8 steel, ensuring superior strength and durability. Zinc plated for enhanced corrosion resistance, these set screws offer reliable performance in various industrial and engineering applications. Fully threaded and compliant with DIN 933 standards, they are designed for secure fastening in pre-tapped holes or with different nut types and washers.
Zinc plating acts as a protective barrier against oxidation, prolonging the lifespan of the screw. When the plating is compromised, the zinc sacrificially corrodes to protect the underlying steel—preventing rust and maintaining structural integrity. This makes ForgeFix set screws ideal for environments where moisture or harsh conditions may be a concern.
