ForgeFix High Tensile Zinc Plated Set Screws M10 x 70mm (Pack of 10)
High tensile, zinc-plated set screws (M10x70mm) for durable, corrosion-resistant fastening in engineering and construction.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screws are manufactured from robust grade 8.8 steel, ensuring high strength and durability for demanding fastening applications. Featuring a zinc plated finish, these screws provide enhanced corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use where exposure to moisture is a concern.
These fully threaded screws conform to the DIN 933 standard, guaranteeing compatibility with various nut types and washers. The zinc plating acts as a protective barrier against oxidation, while also serving as a sacrificial anode to prolong the lifespan of the screw. This means even if the coating is damaged, the zinc will corrode first, preserving the steel beneath.
Applications
These set screws are ideal for fastening multiple material types together or securing into pre-tapped holes. Due to their high tensile strength, they are widely employed in engineering applications where a reliable and long-lasting fastening solution is needed.
