ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Pozi Screws, 4.0 x 20mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 30
Zinc-plated Pozidrive screws for joinery, DIY & trades. Countersunk head, durable & corrosion-resistant. 4.0x20mm pack of 30.
The ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws feature a countersunk head and zinc finish for increased durability and longevity. These versatile screws are widely used across various trades, including joinery, electrical, and plumbing, as well as DIY applications. Their robust design makes them suitable for a range of materials, such as PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF, and more.
The zinc coating provides excellent corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier against oxidation. If the coating is damaged, zinc acts as a sacrificial anode to prevent rusting. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide does not compromise the substrate's integrity and can further protect the metal if left intact.
