ForgeFix Nyloc Nuts & Washers, A2 Stainless Steel, M10, Pack of 8
High-quality A2 stainless steel Nyloc nuts with anti-vibration nylon lock. Secure fastening for bolts, rods & structural applications.
The ForgeFix Nyloc Hexagonal Nuts are made from A2 stainless steel, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to ordinary steel. These nuts incorporate a nylon locking component, which effectively prevents loosening under vibration by tightly gripping the bolt when tightened.
The nylon insert has a smaller diameter than the nut itself, ensuring a secure fit that resists rotation once tightened. Unlike traditional locking washers, this mechanism provides long-lasting resistance to loosening, making these nuts ideal for applications subjected to movement or vibration.
The hexagonal shape allows for easy tightening using a spanner or wrench, ensuring high torque and secure fastening. Stainless steel offers excellent durability, being resistant to rust and corrosion under most conditions—though prolonged exposure to high-salinity or low-oxygen environments should be avoided.
