ForgeFix Self-Tapping Screw, Pozi Pan Head, Zinc Plated, 25mm x 8, Pack of 200
ForgeFix self-tapping Pozidriv screws, zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. Ideal for DIY, engineering & sheet metal. Box of 200.
The ForgeFix Self-Tapping Screw is designed for durability and high performance, featuring a zinc-plated finish for superior corrosion resistance. The pan head design with a flat under-head surface ensures a flush finish on sheet materials, minimising deformation. These screws are self-tapping, creating their own thread in pre-drilled pilot holes, making them ideal for sheet metal applications.
Constructed with a single thread, these screws offer exceptional pull-out resistance, ensuring a secure and long-lasting hold. The zinc plating acts as a sacrificial anode, preventing oxidation and extending the screw's lifespan by forming a protective barrier. Even if scratched, the zinc oxide layer continues to protect the underlying metal.
The Pozidriv drive system provides superior torque transfer compared to standard Phillips heads, significantly reducing the risk of cam-out. Its four additional contact points ensure a secure grip with the correct driver, allowing for higher torque application without slippage. Easily identified by the 45° embossed line in the screw head.
