ForgeFix TechFast Roofing Screws 5.5x60mm for Timber to Steel (Pack of 100)
Heavy-duty ForgeFix roofing screws—zinc-plated & corrosion-resistant, ideal for timber-to-steel joining. Free Torx bit included.
The ForgeFix TechFast Roofing Screws are engineered for secure and efficient timber-to-steel joining, particularly suited for heavy section purlins in roofing applications. Featuring a Torx-compatible countersunk head, these screws sit flush with the surface, ensuring a neat and professional finish.
A key advantage of these screws is their self-drilling point, which not only speeds up installation but also minimises the risk of 'jacking' when fixing timber to steel. The inclusion of wings ensures a clean clearance hole in the timber.
Superior Anti-Corrosion Protection
These screws are coated with zinc plating and ‘Elementech’ coating, which provides exceptional rust resistance. This coating has been rigorously tested, achieving 1,000 hours in salt spray tests, making them highly durable for long-term outdoor use.
Recommended for Steel Thicknesses of 6.0mm to 12.5mm, these roofing screws are particularly effective in heavy-duty construction projects. Each pack comes with a free Torx-compatible bit, ensuring you have everything needed for efficient installation.
