ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws 5.5 x 80mm, Box 100
Fire-resistant ForgeFix TechFast screws for timber-to-steel framing. TORX® drive, self-drilling tip, box of 100.
ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specifically designed for securing timber to steel frame buildings, offering a highly efficient and durable fastening solution. These screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole, ensuring the thread remains protected while drilling through timber. The wings break off upon contact with the metal surface, allowing the thread to engage seamlessly with the steel.
Equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, these screws provide higher power transmission for easier driving and reduced cam-out. The recessed ribs improve countersinking, ensuring a flush finish every time.
These screws are fire and corrosion resistant, making them suitable for demanding environments while complying with EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
