ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws 5.5x120mm, Pack of 50
Secure timber to steel with ForgeFix TechFast CSK/Wing Screws. Fire-resistant, TORX® compatible, 5.5x120mm, pack of 50.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings. These innovative screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole, protecting the thread from engaging with the timber during drilling. Once the wings contact the metal surface, they break off, allowing the thread to engage seamlessly with the metal.
These screws are equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, ensuring higher power transmission for efficient driving. The improved countersinking from recessed ribs provides a flush finish, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
