The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings. Featuring innovative breakaway wings, these screws create a clearance hole to protect the thread from engaging with the timber during drilling. The wings ream a hole and then break off upon contact with the metal surface, allowing the thread to securely engage with the metal. This unique design ensures efficient and hassle-free installation.
These screws are equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, providing a higher transmission of power for better drive performance. The improved countersinking from recessed ribs ensures a flush finish. Additionally, the screws are fire and corrosion resistant, meeting EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements for reliable and compliant use.
