ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® T40 Construction Screws, Tan, 8x320mm, Tub of 20
Robust ForgeFix TORX® screws with self-drilling thread & corrosion-resistant coating. Ideal for timber construction.
The ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Compatible Construction Screws are engineered for robust, long-lasting performance in timber applications. Featuring a TORX® compatible deep insert, these screws provide higher torque levels, reduce cam-out, and ensure a firmer drive for more efficient fastening. The super sharp tip offers immediate bite, eliminating the need for pre-drilling and minimising the risk of timber splitting—even near edges.
These screws are protected by elementech 2000 surface treatment, offering corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc-coated alternatives. Their hardened case and core enhance durability, while a flexible design allows up to 35° bending under stress, reducing the risk of shearing in dynamic applications.
Key Features:
- Patented self-drilling thread – No pre-drilling required.
- High torque resistance – Reduced cam-out with deep TORX® drive.
- Exceptional strength – Hardened steel case and core.
- Corrosion-resistant – elementech 2000 coating for long-term protection.
- Flexible performance – Up to 35° bend resistance to prevent shearing.
