ForgeFix Wing Nut & Washer M8, Zinc Plated, Pack of 6
ForgeFix Wing Nut & Washer M8, zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Pack of 6, ideal for quick adjustments and part removal.
The ForgeFix Wing Nut & Washer M8 provides a convenient alternative to standard hex nuts, allowing for hand tightening without the need for spanners or other tools. Also known as a 'thumbscrew', the wing nut features two large metal wings for easy tightening and loosening, making it ideal for applications where frequent adjustments or quick part removal are required.
Both the nuts and washers are bright zinc plated, offering increased corrosion resistance. The zinc coating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide, a fine white dust, does not degrade the substrate’s surface integrity, ensuring a longer-lasting finish.
