Featuring a C2 tungsten carbide tip, this bit can drill through hardened steel, cast iron, bronze alloys, and manganese alloyed steel with a hardness of up to 50 Rockwell C. The four-facetted ground design ensures low drilling pressure and perfect centring for clean, accurate holes.
The body of the drill bit is constructed from Chrome Vanadium Steel, hardened to 56 Rockwell C, providing exceptional durability and resistance to wear. Using a coolant (3-6% emulsion) is recommended to extend the drill bit’s lifespan and maintain optimal performance during operation.
