Releasing the trigger returns the mechanism to normal for fine adjustments.
This vice includes two steel guide rods to reduce wear and ensure smooth parallel action. The jaws are designed to 'toe in', providing even clamping pressure over the entire depth of the work piece. An adjustable front stop (dog) offers additional cramping facilities when used with a bench stop, effectively combining a normal vice and tail vice in one tool.
