It has been specifically developed to fit industry-standard 120mm fan apertures, providing efficient thermal management to protect sensitive electronic equipment from overheating. The fan unit operates at the low end of the noise spectrum, with tested sound levels of just 25-26dB(A), ensuring a quiet working environment even when deployed in office settings.
A key feature is the integrated rubber silicone gasket, which sits between the fan and the metal cabinet mounting area. This gasket not only provides a secure, vibration-dampening seal but also helps to lower the acoustic noise floor significantly. The fan is powered by a reliable motor with an air delivery of 49-50 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM), while consuming only around 8W of power, making it an economical choice for continuous 24/7 operation.
Safety and reliability are paramount. The fans are impedance protected and fused at 1A, ensuring compliance with all current UK and EU safety standards. They incorporate an intelligent safety feature: if the fan rotor becomes locked by an external obstruction while powered, the system will automatically cut power to the motor to prevent coil overheating. Once the obstruction is cleared, the fan will safely restart. For secure and straightforward installation, the unit includes a metal finger guard, the rubber gasket, and 4mm fixing screws that thread directly into the fan's M4 slots, eliminating the need for separate nuts.

The plug features an integrated on/off switch, allowing you to easily power the fan on or off at the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) without needing to access the top of the cabinet.
